Impressions

Illustrated book for the 10 anniversary

The statuette

To celebrate its 10th anniversary the traditional company Gmundner Keramik created a glamorous new statuette.

Reduced to a feather in combination with a panpipe with seven pipes, the symbolism of the statuette is unmistakable the panpipe from Mozart’s “Magic flute”, and not just among experts. The uniqueness of the statuette is garantueded by flaming of the feather. This unmistakable, more than 300-years old technique of Gmundner Keramik is both a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage site and a unique piece from Austria.
